FAQ'S
1) How long does paver sealer last, and when will I need a refresh?
Most sealers last 2–3 years depending on sun/traffic/sprinklers. High-traffic driveways or heavy sun may need a refresh sooner; shaded patios often last longer.
2) Will sealing make my pavers slippery or change the color?
Sealing enriches color (wet-look effect with some products). Choose matte or gloss. We can add a non-slip additive for pool decks or slopes to maintain traction.
3) What’s the cure time—when can I walk or drive on it?
Light foot traffic after 24 hours; vehicles after 48–72 hours (weather dependent). Avoid tight turns/pivoting tires for the first 7 days.
4) Do you re-sand the joints, and does that stop weeds?
Yes—before sealing we re-sand joints (polymeric option available). It helps inhibit weeds and washout, but doesn’t eliminate maintenance entirely.
5) How do you prep—and what about stains, haze, or efflorescence?
We deep clean, spot-treat stains, and address efflorescence (white salts) before sealing. Some old oil/rust may only lighten. Proper prep minimizes whitening/haze and ensures an even finish.
